Research

At GETI, the research agenda is firmly rooted in local relevance and community impact. We optimistically encourage students’ career of research as a partial fulfillment of diploma and degree programs. Accordingly, research areas will be focused on entrepreneurial fields related to different disciplines such as trade and commerce, and agriculture and food sectors etc.

Special emphasis is given for applied research to resolve real world issues prevailing in different sectors. Accordingly, students will be motivated to select research areas based on their research interests, which can support and secure their career pathways. GETI also provides the students supervisors who have academically credentials and professional experience Students are encouraged to conduct research in local languages, making their work accessible to a broader community.

Research findings will be encouraged to be published in local and international peer reviewed journals including indexed publications. In addition, these findings will be disseminated regularly through conferences and seminars organised by GETI.

GETI offers a library with a curated collection of textbooks, e-books, and access to selected e-journals to support academic and professional research.
